They forgot about Dre.

Look out Beats! Aspiring Parisian brand Aedle are promising to make sweet-sweet love to your lug-holes with the second release of their VK-1 Classic headphone.

The VK-1 Classic originally hit the streets in a test limited edition of just 400 units worldwide. Now re-available in Classic or Carbon Edition, these retro-styled minimalist-design headphones are about as sleek as cans come. Made from aircraft-grade aluminum and handsewn lambskin leather, they’ll be dapper, comfortable and hardwearing, too.

Manufacturers Aedle combine the latest audio technologies with traditional craftsmanship by producing the ‘VK-1’. Embedded with high-performance titanium-neodymium transducers, the device incorporates a minimalist designed body entirely made of noble materials. Each of the ‘VK-1’ aluminum parts are sculpted one by one in a virgin aluminum ingot with hand sewn genuine lambskin leather for the headband and cushions.

Available at €350.00 (only €20 more than your Dre Beats nonsense!) this could be a design classic in the making.
